What is Couple’s Therapy?
Couple’s therapy isn’t about sitting in a room while someone nods and tells you to “use your I-statements.” This is real talk, real work, and a safe space where both partners can say what they’ve been holding back — without it turning into another fight. We’ll help you unpack the messy stuff, improve your communication game, and rebuild trust so your relationship feels like a partnership again, not a tug-of-war.

Why Couples Work With Us:
-
Straight-Up Communication: Learn how to say what you actually mean and hear what your partner’s actually saying.
-
Get Vulnerable Without Falling Apart: Build deeper connection without feeling like you’re losing yourself.
-
Drop the Scorekeeping: Balance the load, ditch resentment, and stop keeping mental receipts.
-
Fight Cleaner, Love Harder: Disagree without destroying the relationship.
-
Grow Together, Not Apart: Make sure your future plans align instead of pulling you in opposite directions.
Why Vida?
We’ve been helping couples in Riverside and SoCal since 2016, and we don’t do stale, scripted therapy. You get a therapist who knows how to cut through the fluff, challenge both of you, and help you actually move forward not just rehash the same argument week after week.
We’re not here to “fix” one partner or take sides. We’re here to help both of you speak your truth, hear each other, and figure out whether you’re building something stronger… or just keeping up appearances.
Couple's Therapy FAQ
So what does couple's therapy look like?

What therapy approach do you use with couples?
We draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques — practical tools to break repetitive fight patterns and keep you moving toward what you actually want, not stuck rehashing old grievances.

How many sessions will we need?
It varies by couple and what you're working through. Some couples come in for a few sessions to work through a specific rough patch, others stay longer for deeper work. We'll check in on progress so you're never just going through the motions.

Do you take sides?
No. We're not here to decide who's right. We're here to help you both communicate honestly, hear each other, and figure out if you're building something stronger together.

How much does couples therapy cost?
$220 per session, available with licensed therapists only.
